In March 2004, over 100 children and teachers attended a special awards ceremony at the Natural History Museum. The lucky attendees were the proud winners of a unique competition run by Woolworths where children between the ages of 4 and 11 were asked to design their vision of a new playground - with the prize being money to build the playground itself! The children were presented with prizes enabling them to turn their ideas into reality and in keeping with the venue where the event was being held were given special dinosaur themed lunch and free entry to the T-Rex exhibition afterwards! The event was a huge success for all involved and is now being rolled out to every school in the UK!
